Steve McCurry has been one of the most iconic voices in the most iconic voices in the contemporary photography for more than thirty years, with scores of magazine and book covers, over the dozen books, and countless exhibition around the world to his name. Born in suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; McCurry studied film at Pennsylvania State University, before going on to work for a local newspaper. Steve McCurry is the founder of Imagine Asia in 2004. The mission of IA, non-profit organization, is to work in partnership with local community leaders and regional NGO’s to help provide educational resources and opportunities to children and young adults in Afghanistan.
