Laura Boushnak

Laura Boushnak is a Palestinian photographer born in Kuwait who has widely documented life in the Middle East, ranging from the conflicts to the position of Arab women and Beirut’s gay culture. Boushnak has photographed for Associated Press (AP) and worked as a photographer and a photo editor for Agence France-Presse (AFP). Her images have been published in the New York Times, The Guardian, National Geographic and Le Monde. She is a member of the Rawiya collective founded by five female photographers.
