Brenda Ann Kenneally

Brenda Ann Kenneally has worked for many American publications, including The New York Times Magazine. Photography has been her salvation after a troubled past that included drug use and a prison sentence. In 2004 Kenneally started documenting life in the city of Troy in New York State, near the area where she grew up. The long-term project has produced acclaimed work, including the series Upstate Girls.
